Where does Mannkind work?
We organize programs and host fundraising events in Surrey, BC Canada. Mannkind also supports orphanages in Chennai, India. Find out more about Mannkind Projects and Programs.
How can I donate?
You can donate anytime online, it’s easy and secure! You are also welcome to contact our staff for additional details and specific arrangements.
If I am an international donor, can I still make a donation to Mannkind?

Where does my donation go?
Your donation with Mannkind is an investment in long-term solutions to fight poverty, increase environmental awareness, secure community partnerships and build quality care facilities for orphan children in developing countries.
Is my donation restricted to one country?
Donations to Mannkind go to support our programs both in Canada and abroad. This gives us the flexibility to channel your investment to wherever the needs are greatest.
I did not receive a tax receipt for my donation. How can I get one?
A duplicate tax receipt can be requested by contact our staff or by mail to: Donor Services Department, Mannkind Charitable Society, 13767 – 55a Avenue Surrey, BC Canada V3X 3P2.
Please keep in mind that due to administrative costs we can only issue tax receipts for contributions of $20 or more.
Can I donate clothes, food or other supplies?
Yes, we encourage our members, volunteers and donors to donate food items and new/used clothing, blankets and baby-supplies to help support our work in Surrey, BC to fight poverty and provide hope. Please contact our staff to make arrangements for pick-up or delivery details.

Can I volunteer for Mannkind?
Yes! Throughout the year Mannkind offers volunteers the opportunity to work in Surrey, BC to fight poverty, advance community music & arts programs and increase green spaces in city parks. Volunteers can also work with our staff to create their own fundraising events to support Mannkind’s mission objectives here in Canada and around the world!
Additional opportunities include trips overseas with our partners Operation Rainbow Canada (ORC) to perform operations support for medical procedures that transform lives! Contact our staff for more details about how you can volunteer to make a difference and gain valuable experience along the way!
Does Mannkind offer financial assistance or grants?
Mannkind is a funding agency and therefore does provide financial support directly to individuals or organizations. We also works in partnership with governments, businesses, and community stakeholders to develop lasting solutions. Visit our Projects and Programs section for more information.
Does Mannkind provide scholarships?
Yes, Mannkind supports education programs that provide scholarships to youth who demonstrate an aptitude for arts and/or music, and to youth who would not otherwise have the means to access an education. If you are a student or educator please feel free to contact our staff for more details.
How can I sponsor a child?
Right now, Mannkind does not offer an orphan sponsorship program that is child specific . Instead, we encourage your support of the entire care program and our overall efforts. You can visit our Projects and Programs page to learn more about how you can get involved to alleviate poverty, advance music & arts programs and increase appreciation of the environment for children in developing countries. You can also donate now and invest with us in an upcoming sponsorship opportunity.
Are you a religious-based organization?
Mannkind is a nonsectarian organization, meaning we are not affiliated with any particular religion or belief system.
